Days of Our Lives fans know that John is in a tough situation right now. His life has been in a line of questionable practice for months now after all that’s been going on with him and with Steve, and now it turns out that his own wife is missing and being held captive by the awful Stefan. He wants to get his wife back, but he’s not sure where to begin. He has to find her, and he knows her life is in danger, but he is currently finding it quite difficult to focus on things that are really on the line.
Before she goes missing, however, they will plan a romantic night together. Their lives have been so crazy the past few months, and they want to spend some quality time together focusing only on themselves. He will plan a sweet dinner, and she will love the idea. But we all know where this is going. She will not show up for their date.
He will panic and worry and know something happened. Other people might not worry so much as they begin to realize that perhaps she could no longer focus on being with him after all he did to their friends. Maybe she was having second thoughts about things and has decided to leave. Maybe she’s decided she’s had enough, or maybe she’s just tired of being in the middle of their problems. Whatever it is, they have some serious issues to work through together.
