Days of Our Lives is going to bring some serious issues in the next few episodes. Nicole is on the run with her daughter, and everyone is looking for her. She’s a kidnapper now, but she seems to have no idea precisely what she’s done. She’s managed to take her own daughter, and she’s managed to convince herself she did nothing wrong. It’s her biological daughter, it’s her baby. She is the one who provided the egg for this baby. She is the one whose dead fiancé provided the sperm for this baby. She’s the mother of this child. She was lied to about the baby’s conception. She was kept from her child because someone else decided she didn’t want to give up the baby. She’s in hiding, terrified for her life, but she’s not going to stop looking for a way to keep her baby all to herself.
Steve is in the middle of newlywed bliss. He and Kayla have been married again for a few weeks, and things are looking good for them. They had a very rough go of it a year or so ago when Ava was back in the picture looking to get Steve back. He didn’t want her back, but he also wanted to get his wife back. Ava kidnapped her and hid her, and Ava told him she’d only tell Steve where to find Kayla before she died if he slept with her. So…he did. And his son walked in on it. His son with Kayla was in love with Ava at the time, and it was an ugly situation.
Now that Ava is dead, everyone is much happier. Unfortunately, she’s going to haunt him from the grave. He is going to get some information abou this past he’s not prepared for, and it has everything to do with the baby he has with Ava. He’s never been entirely sure he fathered a child with her so long ago, but he also wasn’t positive he didn’t. Now he’s going to find out he does have a son with her, and what happens next will throw his life into turmoil.
