Days of Our Lives fans were a little bit surprised to see how Abigail reacted when she walked in on her husband kissing another woman, but she’s a changed woman. She knows her husband had no plans on kissing Sami nor any interest in her at all. She knows he is faithful to her after all they’ve been through and all they’ve done recently. She knows that he is being honest with her and that he is not going to cheat.
But we know that she’s got so much on her mind she’s not sure what is going on. She’s got a man after her out of jail again, and she’s got a friend who might not be dead, and she’s got two friends with whom she shared her wedding day going through something no couple should ever have to go through, and she’s got some messes to figure in her own life. She’s distracted, and we are not convinced that Sami is happy about this. It’s hard to get back at someone who doesn’t seem to care, right?
But there is so much more to focus on that means so much more right now, and this is just not the moment for her to lose track of what is important, which is her marriage and their son. They have more to live for and move forward with, and that is just where she wants to be right now. She wants to be where she can make that change in her life.
