Days of Our Lives fans will be so happy to realize that Gabi is going to go free. The court will overturn her conviction, which we’ve already noticed happening. She’s got this great news to work with, and she cannot keep all this happiness to herself. She’s been working very hard to get herself out of jail by proving she did not do any of this, but things will not be as happy for her in the meantime. She’s going free, but that will be something her happiness will be taken from. She still gets to go free, but we hear she’s going to learn something that will take her joy out of that.
Might it have something to do with what she might learn when she goes into her life as a free person and tries to go back to parenting her daughter? Might it be something she learns about her brother, or about someone else she cares for? Will she learn that her friend Abigail did this and set her up to take the fall for her? She knows Abby isn’t herself, but will that matter to her? Will she be upset to learn that she now faces jail herself for all this? And what will she do with all the bad news she’s feeling about her life right now? Will she suffer tremendously as a result? We aren’t sure where this will go, but we know it will take some of her happiness away from her life now.
All we know is that Gabi is not going to get to celebrate her freedom and her overturned conviction for a very long time. She’s going to have to learn a few things about her life, and they will only cause her to feel a lot worse about things than she did before. She’s not getting out of jail free and clear without any guilt or drama, and that’s something we can all expect to see go down very soon. She has a lot to deal with, and it won’t be very good news for her in the meantime.
