Dafne Keen recently landed herself another starring role in an upcoming film starring she and Luis Guzman following her memorable debut in the blockbuster hit Logan. Ahead of the home video release of the film, Keen’s audition for Logan has been made available and we’ve been treated to a first look today. If you were ever wondering why the relatively unknown actress was cast as a key role, this audition tape should take care of all of that.
It’s hard to remember that this is a girl who was all of 11 when she auditioned for the part. She was also completely unknown and yet here she is in a room with none other than Hugh Jackman and completely stealing to show. It’s also important to note that in this scene she was improvising. Remember folks, 11 years old doing this on the fly with Hugh Jackman. At age 11 I was stealing candy from stationary stores and trying to fit as much Big League Chew into my mouth as I could.
