We usually think of coloring books as something that belongs to children. And no wonder, many of us grew up crayola-ing our way to fill the promising contours in the white pages. Sometimes we colored things way beyond the coloring book, like hands, or a table, or even walls. In the latter cases, we’d always get punished by the adult parenting police.
But it turns out that adults are rediscovering their fascination with coloring by borrowing coloring books from their children. This rather recent trend is well documented by the subreddit “Coloring Corruptions” which is dedicated to sharing examples of grown-ups turning “adorable pictures into twisted and or hilarious corruptions of their former selves.”
