They were the spotlight when she decided she would become a surrogate mother for her sister’s baby. Rick and Maya were so happy that Nicole was willing to have a baby for them, and Lizzie is their little dream come true.
Now that Nicole is unable to get pregnant, they’re all feeling the heat. They know they might have robbed her of her only chance to become a mother. Of course, this is why in real life you cannot become a surrogate without being a mother first, and that’s just how it goes. Now that Maya and Rick realize that they have the baby that Nicole always wanted, we hear rumors that there might be a custody battle ahead. Would Nicole really try to take her sister’s baby away from her so she can have her own? It’s not like the baby is her biological child, but it seems these families cannot make up their minds about what they want. This is the only chance she might have, and her parents are on her side.
What will Zende think of this? They can’t really want to take her sister’s baby just because she carried her for her. Can they? It’s a situation we don’t want to see happen, but it’s one we might just see more of than we really want to see. We can’t imagine this is going to go well at all, but it won’t be without the drama this show loves to have on a regular basis, and that’s what fans want.
