The Bold and the Beautiful fans know Steffy’s dad has a lot on his mind. He cannot come up with any way to reasonably think that his daughter would sleep with the man he hates more than any other human on earth unless she had no choice. He is of the opinion she must have been taken advantage of by being drugged or else he forced himself on her and didn’t give her an option. The truth is that she willingly and happily slept with Bill when she thought her husband was dead and all things in her life were bad.
But Ridge refuses to believe that. He will not believe his own daughter would do this — and he certainly does have the thought that this is against him. He might not even care so much that she did this to her own husband, but it’s a personal attack on him in every single manner when he thinks of it and the way he feels.
But really, Steffy is not going to let her father continue to think this. She knows allowing him to think that Bill did something more wrong than just making the poor choice to bed his son’s wife is wrong, and she is working to convince Ridge that she knows this. She is telling him that she knows very well she was okay with it when it was happening, and it’s killing Ridge to hear her say these things to him. He seems to want to hear her say it was something else.
