The Bold and the Beautiful fans are going to see a little discord between Brooke and her son Rick. He’s not a huge fan of Ridge, as most people know. They’ve had their fair share of issues over the years, and he is not sure he wants to see his mother marry this man again even if he is happy right now. He knows how that goes for her. She’s happy one moment and then she’s not happy the next with him. Ridge is a lifelong ladies man who can’t seem to stop himself from making inappropriate decisions.
So what might happen when she looks to her son for his approval? She’s feeling a bit more confident than usual now that she’s managed to convince Thorne to get on board with her marriage to his brother even though he wants her for himself. She’s feeling good about that, but we hear Rick is not going to make it easy on his mother.
He has something he wants. He has some demands for his mother, and he wants to know how he can get what he wants from her if he looks to give her what she wants. So he’s going to ask her for something in exchange for him giving her his blessing. It’s blackmail, of course, but Brooke probably won’t care. She deals in that business all the time, so this might seem like a small price for her to pay if she can get her son to be happy.
