The Bold and the Beautiful fans know that Steffy doesn’t seem to care that her husband seems to think that he shot and tried to kill his own father. She’s not worried that he might be an attempted murderer. She’s only worried that she can have him back or that he will go to his ex as a result of his new confession. At this point in her life, she just wants him back and she probably doesn’t care if he tells her that he killed an entire litter of puppies. She will tell him they can move past this and it’s all right.
But Liam doesn’t feel that way, and this will not work for her. He’s being blackmailed, and this means that Steffy will ultimately be forced to marry Bill. We hear there is a wedding planner showing up in town to plan a quickie wedding, and we are very much inclined to believe that this will be the wedding that Bill and Steffy share with one another.
She doesn’t want to marry him, but she will if she thinks that it will get her husband to stay out of jail. She will do anything to protect Liam at his point, and this is not the moment she’s going to give up on him. She might even feel that she can get things to work in her favor if she marries him and finds that things are working for her to fix this. She’s got a mission on hand.
