The Bold and the Beautiful fans know there is so much that might make the world a better place, and much of that has to do with the fact that there is so much going on with Brooke. She’s not happy right now. Her husband did not come home this weekend, and she’s not a happy camper. They might not be in a good place, of course, but that doesn’t mean she’s not worried for her husband. He made a vow to her, and the idea that he might be in trouble or that he might be with another woman is too much for her. She is not about to handle that with any sort of grace, and she did what she could to get her way. She turned to her father-in-law, Eric, for some help when Ridge didn’t turn home, and we cannot help but wonder where this might go in the near future considering their complicated history and all.
Then there’s Ridge. He did go to the Bikini Bar and have a few too many things to drink, and he was very drunk. Shauna saw him out and she did all she could to get him home. Not because she wanted to help him out, of course. She got him home to a home that is not his home, and she planted herself right there in front of him for the sole purpose of being there when he woke up confused and disoriented and upset by the way things in his life were going. This is not something he can help, but it is something he is going to have to figure out. Will she continue to allow him to wonder what happened, or will she do something else to get what she wants?

It turns out that Ridge is not a man who is as smart as we thought. Shauna is going to manage to convince him that something more happened when he was drunk, and he will believe her. She will get him to make sure they are in a bad place together, and they will come up with a pact to decide to keep this between the two of them. This will never, ever end up going well, and she knows that. He knows that he will do anything to keep this from his wife, and she knows that she now holds all the cards and all the power and all the things that make life interesting for her. She is going to use this, or she would not have set it up at all.
On the other hand, there will be a long fight for Flo and Katie as Katie makes sure the young girl knows that despite recently finding out she is a Logan, she will never be part of their family. She might have been born because of their father, but she will never, ever be accepted as one of their sisters now that she has done this to their niece. She will never be part of this family after kidnapping and selling baby Beth and doing all this. On the other hand, Shauna is going to try very hard to make nice with her new family, but they will not accept her, either. She may not be the cause of all of this, but she’s not welcome, either.
