Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson’s relationship is at the center of attention for all the wrong reasons. The relationship has raised eyebrows since the news of their relationship and age gap broke in June 2024. 72-year-old Bill Belichick is reportedly in love and dating 24-year-old Jordon Hudson. This leaves a 48-year-old age gap between the couple, who are clearly generations apart. Irrespective of anyone’s opinion, the couple seem to be in love, with Hudson reportedly living with Belichick in Hingham, Massachusetts.

Bill Belichick needs little to no introduction to NFL enthusiasts. The Nashville, Tennessee-born legend is popularly regarded as one of the greatest head coaches of all time. Belichick currently holds the record for most Super Bowl wins as a head coach, with an impressive six wins. His six Super Bowl wins as head coach with the New England Patriots do not include two other wins as a defensive coordinator with the New York Giants.
Belichick was the head coach for all of Tom Brady’s Super Bowl wins with the New England Patriots. His coaching career began in 1975 as a special assistant with the Baltimore Colts. He’s the NFL’s longest-tenured active head coach, having served as head coach of the New England Patriots for 24 seasons.
On the homefront, Belichick has also found relative success. He married his ex-wife, Debby Clarke, on April 30, 1977. The couple were married for 29 years and divorced in 2006. The marriage produced three children, Amanda, Stephen, and Brian, who all have careers in sports. Belichick’s next relationship was with the executive director of his foundation, Linda Holliday, whom he dated for 16 years until they split in 2023.

Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson reportedly first met sometime in 2021. According to a TMZ Sports exclusive report, the couple met on a flight from Boston to Florida. At the time, Jordon Hudson was a student-athlete and competitive cheerleader. However, they reportedly bonded over Hudson’s philosophy project and exchanged contacts after landing. Belichick and Hudson reportedly stayed as friends, as Belichick was still involved with his ex-partner, Linda Holliday.
However, things turned romantic between the pair shortly after Belichick and Holliday split. Although they kept their relationship as quiet as possible, eagle-eyed commentators dug up recent pictures of Belichick and found that Jordon was almost always nearby. In the last few months, the couple chose to be more public with the affair.
Their relationship was also used as a joke by former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski at Netflix’s celebrity roast special The Roast of Tom Brady. Gronkowski stated, “Coach, you used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked. But now I know why you were so obsessed with Foxborough High School; you were scouting your new girlfriend.”

As expected, social media and several fellow celebrities have weighed in. The View’s Joy Behar joins the growing mob of those not fans of the relationship. According to her, “The girl is hearing wedding bells, but the question is, can he hear them?” When co-host Sarah Haines commented that Jordon Hudson might be enjoying the privilege of being in places she wouldn’t have been able to and probably having fun, 81-year-old Joy Behar quipped, “Not in the bedroom, he’s not! There’s only so much Viagra in this world.”
Although most comments have been negative, Belichick and Hudson’s relationship has also had supporters and those who’d rather stay out of the conversations. NFL Hall of Famer and ESPN star Shannon Sharpe stated that people “make it seem like everybody goes into a relationship, regardless male or female, with the right intentions. As long as we are both getting something out of this, I’m cool with this.” He added, “You’re talking about two grown consenting adults. Coach Belichick knows his age. She knows her age. She knows coach Belichick’s age.”
Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy also weighed in, stating, “It’s a big gap. You guys have problems with age gaps. That’s fine, I don’t judge.” Nicaraguan-American commentator and political strategist Anna Navaro compared it with other high-profile relationships. She stated, “Robert Kraft, who’s the owner of the Patriots and used to be Belichick’s boss, he married a woman 33 years younger.
