When you think of Linda Fiorentino you rarely associate her with the 1985 movie Gotcha which starred she and a young Anthony Edwards. To be candid this wasn’t a particularly good movie but it was 100% fun and totally rewatchable. What’s remarkable about this movie is that Fiorentino sports short hair which she rarely if ever does in any film. What’s even more remarkable is that I’m not even close to being a short hair on females fan not to mention there are plenty of times Fiorentino looked amazing, but there was just something about her in this movie.
Maybe the fact that she bared all in this film for only a split second? Nah, that can’t be it. I think it was her stunning accent, “sexy foreign lady” vibe that she gave off. Many might say she looked better in movies like Men in Black or even one of my favorite movies Vision Quest but I gotta go with Gotcha. Few women pull off the short hair like she does in this film. Jamie Lee Curtis is one of the only ones out there I can think of that actually looks better with short hair.
Again, this is not a great movie but Fiorentino is stunning.
