I will 100% admit that I’ve talked plenty of trash in my athletic days. It’s a natural part of the game and when you’re on the basketball court or any court for that matter, things can get pretty heated. I personally think it’s alright to out your emotions to some degree. The degree I’m speaking of is not getting too personal and not offending anyone too much. I’ve always respected my opponents and try to approach the game with at least some level of respect and dignity.
However, there are tons of people out there who don’t care about sportsmanship or even respecting the game they are playing. There are those that showboat, taunt, and turn themselves into a spectacle that no matter how good they are at their craft, people dislike them for it, and rightfully so. Which is why when those people get a dose of karma from time to time, I absolutely love it.
