Amanda Righetti is a name you might recognize, especially if you like television shows like the OC or The Mentalist. With that being said, there’s probably several things about this astounding actress that you might not know. She just seems to have a great deal of natural talent that most people don’t possess, no matter how hard they try.
2. She just might become the newest Scream Queen to entertain horror movie fans
Although it’s been a few years, she starred in the remake of Friday the 13th. The movie did exceptionally well on its opening weekend and many people thought they were looking at a brand new Scream Queen. Although some time has passed, there is still every indication that fans will be able to see her more in this type of role in the future.
3. She comes from a big family
While some people are an only child, she had seven siblings growing up. She’s also the youngest, meaning that she got a lot of extra attention from her parents. It also means that she had to learn how to be tough at a relatively young age, because she had seven older siblings that were all telling her what to do at the same time.
4. She’s not the only one in the family with a rather unique job
While she’s seen a great deal of success as an actress, she’s not the only one in the family that has chosen to think outside the box when it comes to career choices. She has a sister that is a professional dealer in Las Vegas, working at one of the most renowned casinos there is.
5. She isn’t as confident when it comes to her looks as you might think
Over the years, she’s been on all kinds of top 10 lists associated with her attractive appearance. However, she doesn’t really understand why there’s so much buzz about the way she looks. She readily admits that she has issues when it comes to body image and that she doesn’t really understand why everyone thinks she’s so beautiful. She says that she simply doesn’t see that when she looks in the mirror.
6. She admits that when she’s wronged, she gets even
Some people have a tendency to turn the other cheek when something happens they’re not happy about. She admits that this is not really her style. Instead, when someone does something to her that she perceives to be wrong, she makes every attempt to get even. This is something she openly admits to doing in the past and it’s something that she is working on refraining from in the future.
7. She’s extremely mature for her age
She’s only in her early twenties, but she seems to have learned from many of her past mistakes and matured quite quickly. As opposed to going out and partying, she’s more content to just sit at home and live a quiet lifestyle when she’s not in front of the camera.

Aside from having body image issues, she also points out that she’s often judged for her looks before anyone ever gets to know her. She says it’s something that has happened her entire life and she really doesn’t understand it. Because she’s attractive, many people automatically assume that she’s not all that bright, something that frustrates her tremendously. She wishes that people would get to know her before they make snap judgments about her based solely on her appearance.

9. She likes roles that are both challenging and different
She loves being an actress. As such, she likes to participate in roles that make her think or that are extremely difficult to pull off. The one thing she’s fearful of on a professional level is that she will be bottlenecked into doing the same types of roles again and again.
10. She has a unique nickname
For some reason, people like to make up nicknames that rhyme with a person’s name so hers has always been Spaghetti Righetti. It seems like she’s taken a shine to the nickname as opposed to being offended by it, which is a good thing.
