Back in 2018, there was a post by Andras Varga on Bored Panda about the Christmas dress of Szekesfehervar, Hungary’s town center. Those pictures were amazing! Last year I haven’t seen any posts from him, so I decided to post some pictures about the Christmas lighting – in the past, I also took pictures at Christmas, but those were published on my old blog.
Since the pandemic hit the world in 2020, everything is smaller and slower; this is also true about the Advent Markets around the world. So Szekesfehervar has also fewer lights (they placed fewer figures also, and no photo places are built now,) less crowded streets, but the same mood.
I also visited some places in the outer parts of the city, as there are some other Christmas trees. And in the town center, there are at least a few seller’s booths, and I hope I can find a place to drink a glass of boiled wine also.

The palace’s garden is not open this year – usually, they open for the public at Christmas time. This year the light painting is also missing from this building. (Which were usual in the full city center until now.)
