Days of Our Lives fans are hearing some very shocking rumors these days, and we have to address a few in our typical weekend spoiler session. As the week is over and the new week begins, we begin to see a few more spoilers and rumors that are close to being true. The week brings with it a lot of information, and it brings with it either the truth that we were right about things or that we were not. We are not always right. Sometimes the rumors are false, and that’s all right. Even when they aren’t true, we still get to use our imaginations to help us see things the way we want to see them so that we can make the most of what is going on in Salem. And now that we have ended this week, we just have to address the most shocking rumor we’ve heard lately.
Jack Deveraux is coming back.
You remember his story line. It’s been six years — it was 2012 at the time — when we all heard that Jack would die. It did seem a little strange to all of us that this would happen and that he would be gone, but it was a true rumor. He was working so hard to save Abigail from yet another of her disastrous moments when the elevator he was in collapsed far beneath the earth as the tunnels below Salem fell apart.
And he died. Jennifer was crushed. She loved her husband so much. And Abigail was crushed. Her father was so important to her. And now they’ve all been working very hard to get over this, and it’s been a very long time. Abby herself is now a mother, she’s also pregnant with her second child, and we hear her father is coming back.
Let’s discuss the signs.
One: The JD on the Warehouse Door
The elephant in the room is that there was a “JD” on the door of the warehouse in which Xander was keeping people that burned down. He was there with Kristen and with Nicole, who died, and that was sad. However, we might just believe that Jack has been alive all this time and that he’s been living with Kristen — and by living, we obviously mean trapped with her. She’s crazy enough to allow this to be a real life situation.
Eve’s Sudden Disappearance
The other rumor is that while Eve is taking her break in New York City, she might just bring back someone very important when she does return. Who wants to see this happen? Eve does blame Jennifer for all that went wrong in her life with Brady, and she also has a long time history of hating her because of Jack. So we might just assume that she will find him and keep him for herself so that she can bring him back and make Jennifer miserable. Even if he’s not with her, the fact that he is alive and spending his time with Eve will crush Jen.
The Mystery Patient
Okay, so we’ve all been under the impression that the mystery patient is EJ DiMera, but what if it’s not? What if this is all a lie and it’s Jack? What if there is more to this story than we know? What if there is more to all of it? What if the fact that Rolf is in town again means something? We know he’s got a serum he’s been working on that might just bring back the dead, but how long has he been working on this? The real truth might lie in the length of time in which he’s been in possession of this and bringing people back.
And if he is, is there a chance that Jack has no memory of his life? Will didn’t, after all. And yes, he was able to get some of that back, but what happens if this is the same story? We aren’t even remotely sure that Abigail could handle seeing her father and him not having a clue who she is to him. She’s in enough trouble of her own without this kind of crushing situation occurring in her life. But, it’s possible.
