General Hospital fans know that there is nothing more exciting or happier for Liz right now than the fact that Franco is about to undergo this procedure that will change him back into the man that he really is, but she has no idea that someone else is not happy about this and doesn’t want to see it happen. You see, it turns out that Peter doesn’t want this situation to occur, so he has done the thing that is the worst of the worst. He’s ordered a hit on Franco so that it doesn’t happen. It will not, if he has a say in the matter, because he is not ready to see this happen. It’s not going to end well for anyone, and we can say that for certain. But, Maxie is not aware of this, and we can assume she will not be particularly thrilled to learn that any of this is happening.
Meanwhile, we think that Sam is going to learn more than she ever wanted to learn when she finds herself in a new cell with a new cell mate. She didn’t think she’d have to spend any more time with Nelle in her life, but she’s there now and she’s going to be her cellmate for a very long time if they cannot find a way to clear her of killing Shiloh — who, by the way, Nelle found a way to marry prior to his death. Well, this is more than a little awkward, don’t you think? There’s a lot happening here that doesn’t make a ton of sense, but it is what it is and there is very little that anyone can do to make this seem like a more desirable situation for anyone. We don’t get it, but we do know it’s going to be something special.

Liz is going to have more than a few questions about what is about to happen. This is a big surgery for Franco, and she knows that she needs to know. She is trying to do all she can to prepare herself for what is going to happen in her life, and she’s trying hard to be there for him the best she can, even though she knows he is not himself and he does not care for her in this state of mind that belongs to Drew and not to him. And then there is Laura. She’s up to something, and we know tha she knows what Peter is up to. She is not someone who lets herself be unaware of all things that are going on around Port Charles, and this is important. She knows that this situation is not going to get better for anyone, and she is going to put an end to it.
She’s decided to go and sabotage all that Peter is working on. She cannot allow him to do this, to get this situation out of control like this, or to do what he is so clearly looking to do. She has to make sure she can handle it all on her own, and she has to make sure he is not able to do anything stupid and ruin things for this man and his life. She’s out to get him, and we think that she will get him. She’s that kind of woman, and we know that about her.
