General Hospital Favorites Making A Comeback Before 2020

General Hospital fans are shocked and excited and somewhat horrified about all that is going on in Port Charles. We are seeing a few old faces show back up, and we are seeing some old characters show up and some new faces playing them. You see, we miss certain people when they leave. Their door is left open for them to show up, return to what they were doing, and make the most of our lives, but we always hope that their greatest return is sooner rather than later. Now that we are into November and the end of the year is less than two months away, we have to focus on things that mean something to us — including the fact that there are just some people who will bring us the joy we want this year. Here is who you can expect to see return to the show.

Brad Maule

You know him and you love him, and you know he will be back in November. This is a man who has spent so much time on the screen that it’s hard not to love his characters, and we are all so excited that he is about to come back and play the role of Tony Jones. He’s the adoptive father of Lucas, who we know is going through some very hard times in his life right now. Julian is Lucas’ actual father, and he’s been blackmailing Brad, Lucas’ husband, behind his back. Things have taken some ugly turns for some of the people around here, and we get that. But what we do not get is what he is doing here considering he died almost 14 years ago from encephalitis. Could he have been taken and something happened that made it seem as if he was dead? Or will he return in some dreams as someone his son needs in his subconscious? Is he a ghost? We don’t know. But, we will see him, and that is that.

Marcus Coloma

Okay, okay. You don’t know him and you haven’t seen him in Port Charles before, but that’s not the point. The point is not that he is back but that his character is back. You see, his character is one of the most iconic and most famous in the city, and we cannot wait to see what he does with it. He is the new Nikolas Cassadine. Though we do need to spend a moment here focusing on the fact that we wanted to see Tyler Christopher back in the role, but that is not happening.

He recently left his role on Days of Our Lives less than a year after starting on the show and starting the role itself, and we are horrified about this. We thought that this meant he was headed back to General Hospital, though, and we were down for that. We thought it meant that we would see him again as Nikolas, and that made it easier for us to say goodbye to him, but we can see that this is not the case.

So, Marcus Coloma is not a man we know, but he is coming back to the show in a role that is long since one of the best. Can he do it? We don’t know, but we think he certainly does look the part, so he has that going for him. Casting directors did get that right, and we appreciate their desire to go into this role with the idea that they needed a man who looked like the OG to play the role to keep fans happier and less annoyed by the new face.

You see, he’s back now that he’s been stalking Ava. She is the first to find out he was alive, and we were all shocked. We’ve been watching Hayden and Jax on the big mission to find Helena’s will lately, and we know that Nikolas was forced to sign it over prior to this death when Valentin shot him, so this might be something that they were working on with him the entire time if they somehow came into contact with him and knew that he was not, in fact, dead this entire time.
