Young and the Restless fans know that Traci and Jack are not the best when it comes to leaving the past in the past, and they are learning that lesson as we speak. The more they try to dig out and the more that they try to make things work, they more they learn should be left in the past. They are not in a good place, they are not having the best time, and they are not going to be able to focus on things unrelated to what is going on. They are learning some lessons here, and their mother’s friend showing up in town and being there to visit Dina as her condition is worsening by the day is going to cause them some additional anxiety and stress as they try to live through this and get through this as people. We cannot handle it.
Doris is here to visit Dina, and that might be something that ends with more comic relief than anything. These two women have a long history, and they are doing all they can to focus on what is good in their lives right now. However, we also know that Doris is not currently suffering from some memory issues, and she’s going to be another source of stress in everyone’s lives as she shares information she has about their lives and how things are going in their world. She has more than she’s sharing right now, and we almost predict that she is going to be a cause of stress and anxiety in the lives of everyone from this moment on. She is a mess, and we get that. She’s got a lot happening in her life, and we can see that she will not make that easier on anyone.

Phyllis is a woman we’ve known a very long time. Seeing Michelle Stafford back in this role is one of the most amazing things ever, and we are so glad she’s back to take on this personality and all that it entails. She’s bringing so much more to this role than we’ve seen since she left, and we are so excited. Right now, she’s focusing on getting her life in the place she wants it. She’s protecting her daughter, her career, and her life, and she’s doing some things that are not entirely good for her or the world around her, but we expect nothing less from her. She’s been given a very tempting offer, and we can expect to see her take that offer and run with it. We can expect to see her make things right in her world, to change things as they are going on, and we can expect to see her make a situation better.
She might just take the offer and run with it. She might just make it hers, and she might just take part of it, change it, and then make someone else miserable in the process. She’s a mess, and we get that. We know that she is not going to be satisfied with anything less than what she wants in the moment, and this means she might take this offer and make it her own. She might take bits and pieces of it, but she might also make sure she’s able to manipulate it into becoming what she is looking for. Only time will tell.
