The Bold and the Beautiful fans know that Ridge will do anything for his kids. He’s a father. That’s what fathers do. At the same time, mothers do the same thing, and he cannot expect that his wife, Brooke, will be okay with what he did. He had to protect his own son, and she wants to do the same for her daughter. We get that, but we also know that they are in an impossible situation that doesn’t leave them a lot of hope or a lot of choices. He has to do what he has to do to ensure that Thomas gets the help he needs — and we know he needs the help. The deal he struck allows that to happen, but it also means Flo gets to go free. That’s not all right with Brooke. It’s not really all right with Ridge, but it was not something he could give up. Now we can focus on things that are the best of the best.
Ridge walked out when Brooke was unable to handle herself in that moment. She didn’t like it. She didn’t deal with it well. She didn’t like it, and she did not make things work in her own favor. She is someone who did some ugly things, and that’s her life. She’s got to figure that out for herself, and that’s all right. There’s no way their marriage will survive this. She’s so unhappy that she literally kicked Shauna out of the house. Well, if we want to be literal, we will say she pushed her out of the house. But, she will not give this woman another chance. She will not do anything that will make them better again, and he will probably not do it, either. They are at an impasse. It’s too much.

It looks like this might be a weekend to remember, and we cannot believe what is about to happen. It seems that the newly free Flo has a life plan in place for herself, and we cannot help but wonder what it might be. She is one who seems to feel that she deserves a lot more than she probably does, and she doesn’t feel she did anything super wrong. And we hear that Sally is going to hear her discussing her plan, and she’s not letting this go. She will confront Flo about this and let it go. She will not make things worse than they are, but she will not stand for hearing this young woman discuss a plan that she doesn’t think is at all appropriate after all she did, the hurt she caused, and the issues she is living with and caused other people to live with in the past few months. There’s not much they can handle.
There is also a chance we can hear things unfolding with Ridge and with Shauna. He’s getting drunk at the bar, and she’s going to be there to see it. She will recognize that he is not in a good place, and she will do all she can to take advantage of that in her own right. She needs some help to get things back on track, and she’s going to do anything she can to make that happen. Will she be able to get drunk Ridge to see things from her point of view, or will he explode when she tries to speak to him?
