When you belong to one of the most famous families in the world you might tend to act in a way that is considered to be entitled and kind of, well, spoiled. It seems to come with being a Baldwin though and Ireland, the daughter of Alec Baldwin, is definitely possessed of the same quality that her father and mother have been seen to express over the years. Some might want to argue and state that she’s a decent person and doesn’t really do anything that might be seen as embarrassing or in any way controversial, but her public history seems to say otherwise since her own personal fame seems to indicate that she’s had a few issues in her life that are hard to avoid and some that are of her own making. Like many of the Baldwins it would seem that she’s done things her way for a good part of her life and has had to deal with the fallout, if there is any.

10. A lot of her fame comes from the infamous phone message that her father left when she was 11.
This phone message has been played all over the internet and on the TV to be honest so it might be something of a gimme to a lot of people that keep up on this kind of news. Alec did apologize for it later but he was pretty brutal in the message when he was railing at his then 11-year old daughter.
9. She can trace her heritage back to a settler that came to America on the Mayflower.
That’s actually pretty impressive to be able to trace your lineage back that far since a lot of people tend to go to Ancestry.com and hope that their results are something that they find favorable. This however is something you can’t help but find interesting.
8. She’s been a model and an actress for a while now.
She’s definitely been trying to take after her family but it would seem that while she’s done some good and made herself known to some she’s still not quite as famous as her family. It is kind of hard to get out of a shadow that’s been cast for so long.
7. Ireland is in her early 20s at this time.
Thankfully she’s got a lot of time in her life at this time to really get something going and could possibly become just as famous as her father if she really makes the attempt. Whether that will happen though is something that we have yet to see, though some people might be hopeful.
6. She resigned from her modeling gig after a stint at rehab.
Some people that go to rehab do manage to get back into their career and get things working again, but it would seem that Ireland had had enough and stayed away for good for her own reasons.
5. In 2018 she posed naked for PETA.
Let’s just say ‘to each their own’ on this one since the issue with PETA at this point is that even if they have managed to create change in the manner that farmers have gone about shearing sheep the organization still does tend to lie a bit when it comes to showing plastic sheep when explaining how wool is harvested. The fact that she modeled for them isn’t a huge issue, but PETA itself is, well, a bit questionable.
4. Her social media presence is pretty impressive.
You can imagine that a lot of people are willing to follow her social media accounts largely because she’s a Baldwin, but also because she’s a public figure that is willing to put herself out there for everyone to see. One thing that Ireland isn’t is shy it would seem.
3. It goes without saying that some of the pictures she’s put on social media have earned a reaction from her family.
Every person has a right to post what they want on social media after all, within reason, but a picture that Madeline Farber of Fox News and many others have showcased of her leaning against a hotel balcony with a very thin thong on did manage to get her uncle and her dad to respond in ways that were anything but approving. This doesn’t seem to be the first time that she’s managed to catch their attention with an ill-advised post though.
2. Her net worth is around $1 million.
It’s fair to say that her parents’ net worth is a great deal more and it might be that she was raised with this, but her own net worth isn’t all that bad considering that she’s not a huge name on her own just yet.
1. She’s struggled with anorexia in the past.
This is a serious condition that isn’t wise to make fun of since quite honestly it can very bad very quickly if it’s not addressed.
In some ways she seems like the type of person that you might want to hang around, and then the type of person that might make you shake your head as you wonder what she’s doing now.
