General Hospital fans did not get a new episode to work through as many people did on other networks yesterday. The show was pre-empted, and it showed an episode from a while back. It does show you how much things have changed, does it not? A few weeks, a few months, and a few years down the road can change the entire course of anyone’s life in the soaps, and that is what we are talking about. For now, though we have to use that to consider what will happen in the near future. A quick recap of last week shows us that Shiloh is distracted, Willow will do anything she can to keep her secret from him about Wiley, things will get worse, and Sam is worried. She’s not sure what to do, and it’s hard for us to see a way out of this for her. But this pre-empted episode shows us that nothing can change and everything can change in the blink of an eye.
While Margaux is worried about her friend Sonny and what he is up to, she might just be able to help save Laura, get to the bottom of what Ava is up to, and figure out how to shut down the DoD right away. One thing no one is worried about anymore, though, is Kristina. She’s herself, but two weeks ago she was a hopeless mess. Does that tell you just how much you have to see, do, and expect in a few days’ time? Anything can happen, and we encourage fans to remember that as the world is changing and everything is turning on its head in the near future. You can see things unfold, but can you help it as it all comes to a blinding halt?

Ava has a plan, but she has to find a way to wait to see it all come to light. She’s currently biding her time waiting on things to work out in her favor, and we are not sure we could love that any more. She’s making better choices these days than she has in the past, but she’s still not the kind of woman anyone is ready to trust or deal with in any capacity. She’s got her issues, and that is all right. She’s going to sit back and wait while she watches Ryan get what he deserves. She’s also got other things on her plate, and she’s going to wait on those, too. She’s in the middle of things that don’t work out for many other people, but she’s got some interesting situations to fill.
Meanwhile, Monica has given Drew her blessing. She’s supporting him in all that he wants to do right now, and we love that. We love that he is someone who is going to do anything he can to make the most difference in the world. He has plans, and he has a chance to make things right in his own world again. But, things are not going to change in his life if he doesn’t let them change. He has her blessing, but will he go through with the changes he wants to make in his life? Will he go through with things his own way, or not?
