Days of Our Lives fans were certainly sad about a lot last week, and it’s hard to go into the week with that in our minds. We are just so sad for Nicole and her lost baby. And we are sad that Eric is the one being blamed for all of it. We are sad that there is so much anger and hatred between Hope and Rafe that she feels that they cannot get back to a good place in their lives. We are sad that everyone is in a sad place, that everyone is upset, and that there is nothing else we can do to make this happen. We are not happy that there is so much going on with Jack and with Eve and with Maggie and with Brady and with Chloe and with Sarah. Lani is trying to her very best to keep this little baby who belongs to Jordan away from his own uncle and Ciara, and it’s ugly. It’s all ugly.
We also think that Lani is working on a slippery slope right now. She’s got a lot going on in her own life. She’s got a small bit of a problem with the fact that she did lose her own baby at birth last year, and this baby seems to be taking a place in her heart that we are not sure she can get back. We are not certain she can get through this, overcome this, or work through this in her own manner of speaking. She seems quite upset, and we are not certain she can get through this without hurting others. She’s already hurting Ben and Ciara by assuming she knows what is best for this baby who doesn’t even belong to her. This will not end well for her in the very least, we can be certain.

Xander is a man no one wanted to see return to Salem, and that’s never going to change. He did bring Nicole with him, which is a good thing, but he’s not welcomed here. And we all know that he has a partner in all of his madness, but no one knew who that partner was. But, we have a feeling we are about to learn the identity of the man or woman working with him, and we feel that this is going to be one of those things that shocks us all into oblivion. We might not know yet who it is, but we suspect that we will be more than little bit horrified when we do learn who this person is and what they are doing around here. Is there a chance we might not be surprised? Don’t count on it. We will also learn that there is a lot more going on around here than we are prepared to handle.
Rafe is a mess, and he is going to turn to Lani for some comfort. We think he’s turning to her simply because she is there, but will there be anything else to go with this? Will there be something else going on? We don’t see them as a good match in any way, shape or form, so we hope not. But, you just never know when things like this happen around here. For now, though we want to be sure he is all right. And we want to know the answer to Xander’s partner.
