This seems like one of those times when a person really has to have watched a good amount of TV to know just who we’re discussing, as Artem Chigvintsev is by all accounts a very popular and very talented dancer. While he’s worked on a few movies it’s far more likely that you’ve seen him on one or more dance shows that air so regularly. He’s had the pleasure of dancing with some of the best and the most famous names in show business throughout his career thus far, and he’s also been seen, lately, as being attached to one of the more famous faces in the WWE, Nikki Bella. While some folks think this might be kind of advantageous for him it’s important to remember that Artem has already secured his own fame even if he’s not quite as visible to the general public as Nikki has been, and at this point there’s no telling just how long the relationship might last. But a lot of people seem to think that they do look pretty good together.
Here are a few things you might not have known about Artem.
10. After being eliminated on So You Think You Can Dance in season one he came back in season two as a guest choreographer.
He’s done well and been eliminated throughout his career since quite honestly that’s the name of the game and the judges are the types that will look at every little movement and tic within a performance to determine who’s near-flawless and who still needs to work on one thing or another. But he’s proven that he’s worth bringing back obviously since being a choreographer is at times far more important than being a dancer.
9. He has a net worth of about $2 million.
That really shouldn’t be too surprising since dancing is far more lucrative once one reaches the heights where Artem currently resides and learns how to make the system work for them. Plus, there is the practice of investing your money wisely and not burning through it at an accelerated rate.
8. He moved away from home at the age of 15 to gain more experience when it came to dancing.
There was a passion within Artem from a young age to dance and he didn’t waste much time when it came to following his dream. He made his way across Europe before finally coming the US.
7. A lot of his love for dancing comes from his mother.
His parents operated a dance studio and his mother exposed him early on to dancing so wondering where his love for the craft came from is kind of easy to find out since he’s been around this type of life for a long time now.
6. He didn’t focus all that much on his education so that he could devote more time to his dancing.
That’s not to say that he has no education, but he always knew just what he wanted to do. In many cases education becomes secondary to those that have a set passion and know that they’ll do whatever it takes to reach their goal.
5. Apparently he left Strictly Come Dancing due to the fact that too many people were trying to change a format that was proven to work.
On one hand it is easy to understand where he’s coming from since if you have something that works it’s frustrating to see someone come in and simply push it aside to try something that’s unproven. But on the other hand change is important at times and while one person might think something is working another might see it as stale and stagnant and in need of change. It’s a balance that requires a lot of compromise and too often it’s not reached.
4. He’s pretty active on social media and has gained an impressive following.
Artem does seem to stay up on social media and does have a few hundred thousand followers that seem to want to know what’s going on in his career and his life it would seem.
3. It sounds as though he’s worked as a choreographer on a few different films.
There are plenty of people in show business that know how to appreciate the skills of those that they’ve seen and value when it comes to choreography, particularly when it involves dance, and it’s not really surprising that he would have been tapped for his expertise.
2. As of now it does sound as though he and WWE’s Nikki Bella are kind of close.
A lot of WWE fans are still kind of wondering if Nikki and John Cena will ever get back together but at this point it doesn’t look like much of a possibility since she’s been seen with Artem. Things happen though.

Artem has plenty of experience in dancing and he’s managed to create a career that’s not only impressive but is also built upon solid foundations when it comes to his work.
