Young and the Restless fans see things taking a major turn this week, and we cannot help but wonder what this will do to the people of Genoa City. Monday was one of those days that really started with a total bang, and we cannot help but wonder if there is anything else we can do to stop what is going to happen when this city finally explodes — which we think is coming sooner rather than later. Mia is not happy about Sharon, and she’s said something about that to Rey. She wants him to know that she’s not amused by their relationship or by what they are doing with one another, and she’s not happy about any of that. But that’s not all. She’s also not a fan of what is going on around here in other ways, either. She’s testing Arturo, who is also making it known to Abby how he feels. He’s not professed his love for her, and we do wonder about that.
And then there is Nikki, who is sharing all she knows and all she did with her son. She’s got Nick well aware of what she did, why she did it, and what happened in the life of Victoria to make her do what she did, and she’s figuring out what to do with all that now. She’s made a promise to Victor, so she cannot decide how to go against that grain. Things aren’t always going to work out in her favor, but we do think that there are a few things that might just make a difference in some way. Perhaps we can see this unfold in another manner, but we aren’t entirely sure right now that this is the best situation for them. We just know this week is powerful.

Victor has to make peace with some things in life. His future, for example, is bleak now that he is going to go on trial for killing JT. He did not do it, but he will not allow his wife to take the fall for him after what the man did to their daughter, and he will not stand for her standing up and telling the world she did it. Not that we think for an instant that Victor Newman will ever go to jail for anything in his life, but it looks like right now that’s his future and he has to roll with that. Devon is doing some soul-searching of his own, but his own involves taking a risk he’s not sure he wants to take. The only thing that he cannot handle at this point is that he cannot stand being in the same place he’s been for the past few months. He’s got too much going for him right now to bother with that, and that’s what we can do for him.
But, for now, we can also hope that he will make a good decision when he does take that risk. Will he make a decision that works for him, or one that he feels works for everyone else? We just don’t know about that one, but we suspect that he will do something that will change his life for good. We just hope that it’s going to be sooner rather than later.
