The Bold and the Beautiful fans did get to see some stuff happen last week that was kind of sweet. We did get to see Katie decide that she wanted to do right by her child and allow him to spend half his time with his father. She knows that what happened was wrong, but she didn’t want Bill to know that she knew this happened. She was working before he found out to make it right with him. She’s nothing if not fair to her child. She met with him behind Thorne’s back, of course, and we all know that will not go well when he finds out about it. But that’s not all. Ridge is not happy that his wife went to talk to Bill, and he’s especially not happy since he has a pretty good idea what was said to her when she met with him. We all watched him tell her that she is the one for him and that he is finally the kind of man who she wants to be with. No wonder Ridge is upset by all of this.
And then there is nothing that will happen to Hope that she will feel is going well for her. She’s still not dealing well with the fact that her husband is a father with a baby and that the baby comes before her. Of course, we don’t have much sympathy for her considering the fact that she knew this when she was making out with him while he was engaged to his baby’s mother. And that’s not all there is to it. And right now, she’s a mess because the holidays require him to spend time with Steffy and the baby. But, things will work out for someone here, and we think that someone is Steffy.

There’s a lot happening, and we have to say that we think Hope is coming to the rescue. Steffy was concerned over the fact that they would not be celebrating Kelly’s first Thanksgiving as a family, and Hope knew exactly how she felt about that. She’s been left out enough in her own life to understand what that means and how she can get away with not feeling like that. She doesn’t want to make Steffy feel that way, so she will sacrifice her own happiness to make sure that this baby will have the best of both worlds. They will both find that they have to do this for the rest of their lives, and we hope that they can find some sort of happy medium and normal for their very mixed dynamic family.
Ridge is not happy with Brooke, but he doesn’t know what to do to get her to stop with her feelings. She’s continuously loyal to Bill, and that makes him feel awful. He’s her husband, and the fact that she cannot stop spending her loyalty on her ex-husband is a bit of a problem for her current husband. And he’s not wrong. However, we will find that he will do what he can to stop her from being this way and to start a situation where she feels good enough to be there for him. He will fight for her, and that really is all she is asking of him at this point. And that’s good news for her — even if she messes it all up.
