10 Things You Didn’t Know about Sydney Sweeney

Younger actors are making the climb towards supplanting the current generations it seems as they slowly make their way up that ladder. It might take a while to really become known but stars like Sydney Sweeney are doing what they can in order to become the next big thing when it comes to the Hollywood scene. So far in her career she’s amassed a good deal of credits that have landed her in several shows and movies that might not be instant blockbusters but are still a positive move for her career and a way to get people on board with the idea that she is for real and that she’s doing what she can to become a memorable star. The thing about acting is that if one person doesn’t know who the actor is there’s a good chance that the next person might, and so on and so forth. Word does still get around.

10. She was in The Ward.

When a young girl gets abducted and locked away in a basement her mind splits and develops several different personalities that become so strong that they each believe that they’re real. Eventually however the specter of the girl that they were derived from starts killing them off one by one until the last of them is faced with the truth, that she’s the product of a broken and feverish mind that desperately needs healing.

9. She was on the show Heroes.

This show was something unique and special for some time when it came out largely because it introduced us to new heroes that we hadn’t seen before in ways that were far more down to earth and could be explained in a different way that didn’t take us straight to the comics, at least not right away.

8. She was in Spiders 3D.

Films about spiders seem to come and go and all of them have their own certain gimmick that somehow works or makes them tank horribly. In this spider flick the spiders are an intelligent species that were supposed to remain a secret. But upon crashing to earth after the station they were on was broken apart they start taking over the city via the subway tunnels.

7. Her career started in 2009.

She’s been around just long enough to know how things are bound to change on a regular basis and has definitely learned how to roll with those changes as the years have gone by. While her rise to super-stardom is still in the works she’s got some time to really apply herself.

6. She has a very impressive following on social media.

She has well over three hundred thousand followers on social media and seems to be quite comfortable with it as she tends to enjoy her fans and the fact that they’re helping to make her the star that she is.

5. At this time she’s studying entrepreneurship.

In any walk of life it’s wise to have something else to fall back on since there’s no guarantee that you’ll be successful or get to do what you want one hundred percent of the time. Some folks might argue that point but it’s still wise to have something else to offer if your life doesn’t turn out the way you want.

4. She’s in The Handmaid’s Tale.

A show that’s all based around a patriarchy that takes away women’s rights is one that was bound to raise a few eyebrows, but it’s also been one of the most popular shows to date and has grabbed the attention of those that rest on both sides of the political line.

3. She’s 21 years old.

Being part of the younger generation that is actively trying to earn their way up and into the hearts of fans is something that seems to be an endearing trait to some, and Sweeney is one of those that tends to make it obvious that their time is coming very soon.

2. She’s had guest roles in a lot of different shows.

She most definitely hasn’t been lax in her time spent on camera as she’s managed to show up for a least an episode in a large number of TV shows and has a rather impressive filmography considering how long she’s been around.

1. Her brother is also an actor.

It almost seems as though one sibling follows the other when it comes to families that are in show business, but while her brother has gone his own way it’s pretty obvious that they’re quite supportive of one another in their own ways.

At this time in Hollywood it’s tough just to get noticed and tougher still to last long enough to make a reputation, but so far Sydney is doing everything she can and succeeding a lot of times so it seems as though she might be on the right track to becoming someone that will be around for the next decade or more.
