Young and the Restless fans went through a lot this past week, and we just aren’t all that surprised that things aren’t turning out for the best for so many people. For example, there is the fact that we have to see Ashley and Billy continue to be tense and upset with one another. They have some issues that aren’t working for them, and they are continuing to fight. Billy and Phyllis, on the other hand, seem happier than ever. We are completely shocked by this, and things aren’t working out well for any of them. We seem to think that there is a good chance we can get things back in order if we sit back and let it all unfold, and we aren’t sure they will work out. Victoria feels cornered. Rey has announced who he is and what he is doing here, and Nikki continues to lie for her daughter to cover for her. Victor allowed the past to come back to haunt him, and Sharon is standing up for Mariah by telling her she’s not thrilled with Tessa.
Devon may or may not forgive his sister. And things might not work for Cane and Lily with her in jail. Summer is finally admitting she has feelings for Kyle, and they are very strong feelings after a moment of passion, but he’s suddenly noticed there is a new girl in town, and he likes what he sees. That new girl is Lola, and we think that she’s going to cause more than her fair share of trouble. She happens to be the sister of Rey and Arturo, and we already know the entire city is mad a them for everything they stand for. So this might turn out to be something we cannot predict, and it might not be good news.

Things aren’t looking good for Billy right now. He might be in a good place with Phyllis, but we suspect that will all end when someone decides he should find out that his girlfriend slept with Nick. They might have been in the middle of a fight when it all went down, but that won’t matter much to Sharon. She was not in the middle of a fight with Nick when he slept with Phyllis. They were just hanging out and he let things get a little out of control. Kyle will probably let it slip to Summer, who will let it slip to Billy as one more way of making things worse. She might even say something for no reason other than to make sure that Kyle suffers for having the audacity to check out Lola.
It’s not something we think will go any other way. Summer will not like to see his hot young new girl in town, and she will be even more upset when she finds out Kyle finds her both interesting and attractive. This will not go well for anyone involved, and we cannot help but think that this situation is going to go from bad to worse in a matter of days. We aren’t sure they can handle this, but we are definitely sure they cannot handle anything else at this point. They have a chance to work this out, but Kyle and Summer aren’t the kind who can make that happen. This will end poorly as a whole.
