Days of Our Lives fans are having a rough week this week with Marlena’s life on the line. It’s been such an ugly situation with Sami rubbing her encounter with Rafe in Hope’s face, her arrest, Susan saying she’d been kept captive in the freezer, Claire is taken hostage, Belle slaps Sami, and everyone is a mess. When Marlena was finally taken to the hospital, there was a whole bunch of people there waiting on her to go into her surgery. Her life is on the line, and no one is at all happy to have this situation in their lives. She is a newlywed, her life is just beginning with her new husband, and this entire situation is too much to handle right now. We all hurt for her and her family, and watching them all gather to get her through this is what is going to make our lives a lot happier and a lot more energetic.
On top of that, we also saw that Will is keeping secrets from Paul — not that we are surprised or even upset by that. Will, on the other hand, is upset that he is keeping secrets and he doesn’t like it. He wants to come clean, but he’s not sure it is the best decision he can make. That’s just something he has to deal with on his own, and that might be something he can do in time. He’s not going to have much of an issue with the way his life is going, but he is going to have an issue with the way things are going for him in some other manner. But that’s not all, either. There is also a chance that they have to figure out what to do when Kristen reaches out and tells Brady she’s got someone he loves. This is not going well.

What we love is when the people who work on a show are so excited about their jobs, and Kristian Alfonso (Hope) is one of those people. They love their job around here, and she’s showing us that work doesn’t feel like work and things are just so much better in her life when she’s working with people she likes so much. It’s all good, an we can’t wait to see what else she has to bring to the table in the coming weeks — her story has picked up significantly.

The next thing we can think of is the fact that Sami is going to have an epic showdown. She is not happy with Hope, and she’s already been awful to her since she showed back up, and they are about to have it out in the jail. This is not going to go well for Sami, we predict. Hope is more in her element here, and that makes us confident she will take on the upper hand. She’s also not the one who was just arrested and who was accused of a heinous crime. So this might not go the way that Sami predicts it will go, and she might not even care at all that this is happening to them.
Brady isn’t sure what to do now that Kristen has Claire. He has to rescue her, but there might be some serious complications in this situation. And he might have to do something he really does not want to do to get her back. She wants him, specifically, and there is a great chance that this is going to become one of those issues that really makes everyone feel uncomfortable and upset, and we can’t help but wonder if they can get through this at all. There’s a lot happening, and it might just become a situation that puts his relationship with Eve on the line — and there is a good chance that’s exactly what Kristen is looking for with this entire thing. Will it happen that way?
