General Hospital fans know that it does not take long for people to become intertwined with their families. It’s hard to remember who is related to whom, and why, and how, and what is going on with all these people. So, we thought it might be helpful to run down a few of the people who are related to one another, the people who aren’t related to one another, and get their situations under control before it’s too late. We’re talking family, and we certainly hope that you can keep up as we go through the long list of people who are related to one another and those who are not.
Sonny’s Family Tree
It’s easy to get confused when it comes to Sonny and his kids and his wife and her kids. To whom do their kids belong? Are they all Sonny’s and Carly’s or are they partly his and hers? And what is going on with all those kids? Well, let’s start with the fact that Sonny has been married a time or two or more than that to be quite honest. He’s not someone who can help with things if he’s not around to help with them, but he can help with his kids.
He has a lot.
– Dante Falconeri
– Michael Corinthos III
– Kristina Davis
– Morgan Corinthos
– Avery Jerome
He also has several babies that didn’t make it, including one with Sam. But that’s not the point. The point is that these are Sonny’s kids, and they are not all Carly’s. They have two together. They have Michael and Morgan, but they are not both Sonny’s, either. Sonny’s son Michael is his adopted son. Carly had him with A.J. Quatermaine, but he is Sonny’s son in every sense of the word. They did have Morgan together, though.
Carly also has a child of her own with Jax that she and Sonny raise together. Josslyn belongs to Jax, and that’s where that all plays into a factor.
Quartermaine Family
There are so many of them that it’s hard to keep up, but we have a lot people asking us about Jason and Drew and their connections, so we thought we might try and explain all that. Okay, here we go. Edward married Lila, and they had Alan. Alan married Monica and had Alan Jr. Or, A.J. as most people called him. A.J. had an affair with Carly that led to the birth of Michael, who was later adopted by Sonny. Alan Sr. then married Susan Moore, who is dead, and they had Jason (and Drew).
He and his half-brother, A.J. had issues, and that is where things began to go wrong for Jason. He was the family favorite, and A.J. was just a loser in their eyes. So, one night A.J. made the decision to drive drunk with Jason in the car, hit a tree, and Jason was hurt badly. And that led to him falling into a coma. He only remembered his grandmother, Lila, and his adoptive sister, Emily, when he was awake. He hated the rest of his family, and he changed his name to Jason Morgan and he decides to turn to a life of crime.
He was gone for some time, and there was a whole situation with his twin brother Drew that no one knew about. They all thought that Drew was Jason, and things were not good for them when they realized that he was not Jason. Things did not go well after that, but he and Sam are currently working through their issues. They have one child together, and he has one with his friend Liz after a random night.
His history with Drew is still largely unexplained at the moment, but it’s all falling together in a way. They will find out what is going on with one another, and they will figure things out. We don’t know how this will go and how it will work out for them, but they will get to the bottom of this, and we will learn how it all works and what it all means for everyone involved in this sordid love triangle and tale — eventually, that is.
