10 Things You Didn’t Know about Moran Atias

It’s only a little difficult to track down anything about Moran Atias since she does have few websites that give out pertinent information. It’s parsing through her bio and everything else to find things of interest that takes a little more time. In truth she’s an interesting woman and has done a fair amount in her life, but she’s also been a lot more low-key than many other actors throughout Hollywood and while she has a lot of accomplishments to pore through it’s usually interesting to find out what lies behind those accomplishments and discover just what it is that makes a person unique. Everyone has something after all, no matter if we’re the most common individual in the world or the grandest celebrity or royal that’s ever lived. All we have to do is find it and discover what it is about those qualities that makes us special. Moran is kind of like that, you have to dig just a little bit to find out what makes her stand above the rest, but it’s there if you’re willing to look.

So let’s see what we found, shall we?

10. Her first appearance on TV was at 15.

The program was titled Out of Focus and it was a youth-based program that Moran was a part of. She went on to host a few shows in her career as well and made her start here.

9. She was a model to start with.

Moran found a position with Robert Cavalli and was seen to move between Germany and Italy as she did her best to make this career move work. It wasn’t her first choice as she’d wanted to do something else with her life. But seeing as how life tends to rearrange our plans at times she made the best of a difficult situation and went into something that she was equally suited for.

8. She originally had a part in 2009’s Friday the 13th but bowed out.

Some people might say that this was all for the best since the general feeling was that the movie was really kind of a bust. It had the scares and chills of the franchise but it was considered kind of a dud simply because they went back to the original formula with a new story and didn’t see fit to do anything that might really shock the audience. She didn’t miss out on much.

7. She hosted an Italian talk show.

Moran went on to host a few shows and play the sidekick in at least half a dozen more. She’s not been idle in her time as a celebrity, though right now she’s still working up to that elite status.

6. In 2017 she became a naturalized US citizen.

This is a big deal for a lot of people that want to be known as a US citizen and it’s not always an easy process to go through. Even if you’re a US citizen by dint of coming to America many people still desire to be naturalized as it makes life a little easier sometimes. But it is an involved process and takes some time.

5. She had a role in the film The Next Three Days.

This movie seems to have gotten overlooked quite a bit since it was there and then gone within a matter of months. It wasn’t too bad really since it brings up the moral implication of what any person would do if their spouse was wrongly convicted of murder. It’s safe to say that a lot of people wouldn’t go this far, but there’s also a chance that some folks would take that leap and go for it.

4. She’s been featured in a number of magazines.

A few include Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, Maxim, Cosmopolitan, and Vogue Italy. She’s been seen quite a bit in fact since her modeling career did very well for her.

3. She’s a goodwill ambassador for IsraAid.

This is a humanitarian group that is based in Israel and responds to the needs of those they desire to help all over the world. She’s been a part of this now for a number of years and seems to enjoy the work that she performs with the organization.

2. She’s done a good deal of humanitarian work.

In 2005 she was the spokeswoman for the city of Milan in fighting against graffiti and animal cruelty. Then she participated in the Artists for Justice and Peace volunteer mission following the Haiti earthquake in 2010.

1. At one point she wanted to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces.

This was unfortunately derailed when she developed a severe case of meningitis that kept her from participating. It was because of this that she eventually got into modeling. At least it pushed her onto a positive career path that saw her do good for others and become more than a little famous.

See? I told you she was an interesting person.
