Have you ever heard of the name Jon Favreau? He’s an extremely talented actor and he also has a few directing credits to his name. He’s been in movies such as Swingers, Rudy and Cowboys & Aliens. He’s also very active on Twitter, and it could be reasonably argued that he has one of the best Twitter accounts around. Below are five reasons that you should follow him.
1. He’s funny
It’s almost impossible to be a success in show business without having a certain sense of humor. Even those that don’t technically call themselves comedians have to have an ability to laugh things off and sometimes, even to laugh at themselves. This often results in a completely harmless but somewhat twisted sense of humor. It makes for a great way to break up the monotony of a long day, so his tweets are worth reading just for the humor alone.
2. He tells it like it is
Some people are downright mean spirited when they’re talking to others and at the opposite end of the spectrum, you have people that are so afraid of hurting someone’s feelings or making them mad that they won’t say anything at all. Fortunately, most people have a tendency to fall somewhere in the middle. With that being said, it seems like society has gotten more and more to the point where it’s hard to tell what anybody is really thinking, despite what they say. Fortunately, that’s not the case here. He manages to tell it like it is without it ever coming across as anything more harmful than a simple statement. That’s something that very few people ever manage to do with any level of success.
3. He isn’t afraid of a little controversy
You can’t tell the truth and have a somewhat twisted sense of humor without stirring up just a little bit of controversy here and there. Favreau certainly doesn’t seem to go looking for it, but he doesn’t really seem to run from it if it happens to come his way, either. It says a great deal about his character, because he doesn’t have a tendency to back down from something he said just because someone else doesn’t like it.
4. He talks a lot about movies
