General Hospital fans think that Franco is just not all that likable. It’s been very obvious on the internet and in the news lately, and it’s understandable. He’s made some poor choices, done a few things that people can’t relate to, and he’s hurting Liz. If anyone is a fan favorite around here, it’s Liz. She’s been through more with the people in this show than just about anyone else in the world, and she’s someone with whom fans relate and they love her.
So the fact that Franco is making poor decisions again and again is not working for fans. And they know that he, too, is uncertain of his future. Will he get married to Liz and will they live happily ever after? Or will they find that there is no much else they can do but get their lives together enough to see this thing to the end and make a split?
He’s not certain about what might happen, but neither is Liz. She has no idea what it might do to her to find out what is going on, and there is nothing that she can do to make sure her life is going to go the way she wants it to go. She’s looking at finding out what is good in her life, and she’s looking to find out what she can do to make it better. That means she’s got to make a decision that leaves him uncertain about the way things are.
