DJ Khaled is Your New Weight Watchers Social Media Ambassador

You might not have thought it was possible just a little while ago but DJ Khaled, one of the hottest acts in the world today, is now going to be your Weight Watchers social media ambassador. The music mogul has decided to change his lifestyle around and became a member of WW just recently in an effort to make a switch to a healthier, more comfortable practice when it comes to eating and being active. At this time he’s already enjoying the fact that he can eat pretty much whatever he wants so long as he sticks to a point system. He has 40 points a day and certain foods take up a certain amount of points. The best part is that some foods don’t take up anything as far as points and can be consumed whenever he wants.

I can recall being a kid and watching as my parents went on Weight Watchers. My mom was fully into it but my dad kind of drifted in and out. After tasting the food they had back then and those chalky shakes I couldn’t blame him. Weight Watchers has been perfecting its program for a long time now and thankfully at this point they’ve finally gotten the idea that their food needs to be palatable as well as healthy. There’s no need for food to be tasteless to be good for you. The protein shakes might still be in circulation but bad memories of them kind of keep me away.

The idea isn’t just losing weight on the program, it’s also about enjoying a healthier lifestyle and enjoying the comfort of knowing that you’re doing something that will extend your life just a little and help you to enjoy your day while knowing that you’re taking care of yourself. DJ Khaled is doing this partially for his son and because he wants to feel that joy that comes with eating healthier and reaping the benefits for it.

For all those that might still not be on board the WW program it’s perfectly okay, not every program is for everyone. Some of us still like to treat ourselves now and again with a delicacy here and there that might not be that great for us in the long run. The trick there is to not over-indulge and thereby make it a habit. Food is made to be eaten after all, not stared at longingly as you worry over what it will do to your figure. Even those that are super-fit and in great shape eat now and again, so don’t feel guilty about having a pizza or a bowl of ice cream when the mood strikes you.

WW is not about excluding all good foods from your life, but it is about learning how to eat healthy and enjoy the benefits that come from such a practice. The idea is to change your life to your liking and to find foods that you can fully enjoy that won’t harm your body and will instead promote positive well-being.
