Days of Our Lives fans know Lucas is struggling. At this point we all know his son is alive, but he has no idea that Will is still alive. He has hope that the son he thought was dead for so long might not really be dead, but he has no real idea. He’s so upset about the entire situation that he’s basically drinking himself into a coma all the time, and that’s the only way he knows how to deal with this. It’s not good, though, and we know that Chloe is going to work through this with him.
She’s doing all she can to make him stop and to get him to put down the bottle and focus on the good in his life. He has other problems, of course, but this one is currently on the forefront of his mind — and we don’t think that he can handle it all without going further into his destructive ways.
Will she be able to get him to put the bottle down and focus on his life and all that he has going for him, or will he continue to do this and hurt himself even more? We don’t know, but we have a feeling that his downward spiral will only get worse before it begins to improve. There’s a lot left to happen here, and he is only just getting started in understanding what his life might be like in the near future. It’s not going to be well.
