Peyton List has been around for a while and has recently been in the news for her upcoming role on the show Gotham. There’s no doubt that she’s been busy but considering that she has a passion for the business it’s reasonable to assume that Peyton has been allowed to experience what it means to grow up as a decent and well-adjusted human being. So far she’s become a rather big star and is poised for another role coming up that might just send her career rocketing a little higher.
Here are a few things you might not have known about Peyton.
5. She’s a singer as well as an actress.
She’s actually sang with Ingrid Michaelson before and has developed her own singing career which is very impressive. For a girl so young she has a great voice and is a true talent that is pleasant to listen to. It might be that one day she’ll have to make a decision between acting and singing, but as of now she’s doing both without much of an issue.
4. She grew up in Brooklyn, New York.
At the moment she lives with her family in Los Angeles, CA, but she admits to missing her home in Brooklyn. It’s kind of hard to just up and move across the country no matter if it’s necessary, but perhaps when she’s old enough she can make the journey back and find a home of her own. For now however she’s still a minor and should consider staying with her family for the foreseeable future.
3. She has a variety of interests.
Acting, singing, water sports, theater, traveling, and responding to her fans are big interests but she’s still young enough to want to experience as much as she can without having any filter between her and the world, which is great. Perhaps these many interests are what help to keep her relaxed and balanced enough to keep from burning out too soon.
2. She’s appeared in over four hundred advertisements.
That seems like a lot of advertisements and a lot of photo shoots considering the fact that each one can take a while to complete. But if she started as a young child then there’s a good chance that a lot of them were done in ways that wouldn’t be a disruptive. As of now anything that she does seems like it would just be a byproduct of her fame, which seems pretty normal for someone in her position.
1. She’s going to be taking the role of Poison Ivy on Gotham.
So far it seems like more of a rumor than a known fact, but it would be interesting to see her come into the series as the nature-loving villain that seeks to make Gotham her own greenhouse. It would be another major villain that will continue to set up the realm into which Batman will make his eventual rise.
So far the sky’s the limit for Peyton.
