The Top Five Uses of Pink Songs in Movies or TV

Boy where to start with her. She’s awesome, to put it simply, and she’s got her own style, obviously. Pink has got her own fair share of detractors but thankfully she’s also got a legion of fans that love listening to her and will gladly put up with a lot of stuff that she tends to go through from time to time. To explain she kind of shifts in her style every now and again and confused a lot of people as she continues her evolution as a singer. She’s such a dynamic personality that she doesn’t get pinned down easily and continues to break through barriers in her own music and pushes the boundaries whenever she sees the need.

That’s a big part of why people like her so much.

5. Saturday Night Live-What About Us

Pink has become such a hot personality in the music industry that there’s not a lot of places she hasn’t been seen. Her voice is just flat out awesome and her appearance, while wonderfully colorful at times, is usually toned down when she appears on talk shows and other venues that require her to adhere to their policies. She’s a definite rebel but she knows when to be polite, which is also way cool.

4. Lip Sync Battle-So What

It takes a lot of nerve and guts to lip sync something of Pink’s, but obviously that’s not a problem on this show since people are constantly doing crazy things to pick up the win and entertain the crowd. Jim Rash obviously has no issue in getting into character and strutting his stuff all over the stage. The guy either has no shame or is just that great of a personality that he can make this work like it does.

3. Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked-Trouble

So the first two movies did okay, they introduced the Chipmunks and then the Chippettes. After that it might have been smarter to continue the series on TV rather than make another movie that went to the big screen. I kind of think the producers went to the well a time too many with this one. It was cute and kids loved it but the movie kind of flopped.

2. P!nk-Sober

Pink’s videos have always been something fun to watch and the manner in which she pushes the boundaries of taste and what will be allowed is already well known. Some of her videos are the stuff that adolescent boys dream about even while they’re attempting to bring forth a strong message that she instills in every one of her songs. And then of course it’s just fun to watch, and listen.

1. Alice Through the Looking Glass-Just Like Fire

The song is great, the movie is great, but together they kind of make a hot mess. Surprisingly though it’s a great hot mess since the insanity of the Alice in Wonderland stories are so crazed anyway that Pink was the perfect musician to write a song for the movie. Honestly her style and the movie’s slightly loony feel went perfectly with one another.

She’s edgy, strong, and determined, and that’s only a part of what makes her so successful.
