Five Supervillains That are The Easiest to Defeat

Five Supervillains That are The Easiest to Defeat

Some comic book supervillains are notoriously tough, but then again some of them have weaknesses that make you feel a little deflated when you really think about how simply they can be put down. Granted this is if the heroes can actually discover their weaknesses and exploit them while the villains are attacking, but more or less some of them have some obvious and very glaring faults that are hard to stomach when you think about how awesome they could be. Of course, a few aren’t really that great to begin with, but really, the most awesome supervillains are usually those that have learned how to shore up their weaknesses and make it harder for the heroes to fight against them.

Here are a few that might surprise you, or not.

5. Venom

It’s hard to buy into the fact that this mean-looking, brain-eating alien symbiote is anything but flat out tough. It does have its weaknesses however and they’ve been pointed out in glaring fashion over the years. For one it’s scared of fire and will run away from it without question. Second, it is vulnerable to sound, meaning that you could pull a Star Trek: Beyond and simply blast the Beastie Boys at it and watch it squirm in agony. Hey, it if worked for the aliens in THAT movie….

4. Paste Pot Pete

He is without a doubt one of the MOST ridiculous villains in the entire MCU, and that’s saying something since the MCU has had a few doozies throughout its existence. But Paste Pot Pete, oy what a name, is essentially just a guy toting around a variety of paste-based weapons that really aren’t lethal and can only hold someone in place while he commits a crime or makes his getaway. So yeah, take away his paste and he’s kind of useless.

3. The Mole Man

Without his glasses the Mole Man is pretty much a moving target that’s easy to spot. He can’t even wander out in the daylight without his special goggles and if those are ripped away he’s pretty much powerless. The only real advantage he’s got is that he never travels alone and he knows how to summon subterranean monsters. But yeah, take away those goggles and corral the Moloids and he’s down for the count.

2. Batroc the Leaper

At some point someone thought that all you needed to be a supervillain was to look cool and have a super level of stamina so that you could tussle with the best in the hero business. Um, yeah, no. It takes a little more than that and while Batroc might be in great physical condition and be able to hang with the likes of Captain America for a few minutes his biggest failing is that he’s really not equipped to deal with anything beyond his endurance and strength levels. That means most heroes would mop the floor with him pretty easily.

1. Stilt Man

Gravity and leverage are the two biggest problems for Stilt Man, who is really nothing more than an average man in a suit of armor that has telescoping legs that can allow him to tower over people and buildings. While his legs aren’t as vulnerable to attack as you might think, all it would take is tipping his upper body backwards or forwards and he’d topple like a willow tree. Not exactly that well thought out but a good effort.

I kind of thought the idea of being a “super” villain was that you had some other quality that made up for any weaknesses you had. These guys are just too easy to counter in so many different ways.
