“BoJack Horseman” Gets Picked Up for a Fifth Season at Netflix

Fans of “BoJack Horseman” will be glad to know that it’s been renewed for another season. The animated comedy drama is going to be back for a fifth round of off the wall humor. The Netflix comedy is the dream child of cartoonist Lisa Hanawalt who just keeps churning out the hilarity. For those of you who wondering what a “BoJack Horseman” is, you’ve been missing out on a good time. Here are a few reasons why it might be a good idea to tune in and find out for yourself.

Meet BoJack

BoJack Horseman is a narcissistic “neigh sayer,” created in the form of a horse. He once was the star of a ’90s hit television show titled “Horsin’ Around.” He had his heyday and now it’s over. As a washed up former celebrity, BoJack Horseman still lives in Hollywood, but he’s developed a negative attitude and he complains about everything under the sun. BoJack is known for appearing in the colorful sweaters he’s fond of wearing. He hasn’t quite reached the level of Eeyore yet, but he’s working on it. You can’t really say that BoJack is a nice guy, in fact, he’s fairly self-absorbed and wallowing in a pool of pity because he’s not getting called for any great parts that would boost his once super inflated ego. You’ve heard of out of work former child stars? Well, BoJack is an out of work former horse star. We can see that the character hasn’t fully lost his sense of humor though. He breaks out of his musings of misery every now and then with some good material that will have you rolling on the floor in laughter.

Four seasons of success so far

BoJack has been entertaining fans for four good runs and he’s not through yet. Although we’re just a little past the premiere of the new season, executives of Netflix didn’t think that it was too soon to let everybody know that he’s going to return for season 5. What we’ll see in the current run will be a continuation of the somber cynicism and sense of hopelessness that he feels because of his lack of current success in his acting career. There will be plenty of funny times as well. BoJack is the master of puns and he’ll be making some hilarious word plays according to sources who leaked the information.

Crazy cast

In case you didn’t know, Will Arnett is the voice of BoJack. He will continue to deliver the jokes and puns of the down on his luck former horse star. Amy Sedaris returns as Princess Carolyn, along with Alison Brie as Diane Nguyen, Aaron Paul as Todd Chavez and Paul F. Tompkins as Mr. Peanut butter. The premiere kicked off the fourth season, and if you missed it, you can catch it on Netflix, along with other episodes of the show. “BoJack Horseman” is one of the most entertaining animations intended for adults on Netflix currently. We recommend that you tune in to find out what you’ve been missing.
