Five Things You Didn’t Know about Felix Randau

Five Things You Didn’t Know about Felix Randau

Hollywood is filled to the brim with writers, directors, and many others that people don’t know. Traveling outside of those circles it is possible to find even more that have true talent and are still not known for whatever reason. It could be because they are not as inclined to follow the same path as those that seek fame, they don’t play by the same rules, or because they simply don’t play well with others. In many cases however it is because they want to do things their way and do not want someone else stepping on their toes, so to speak, telling them that it needs to be done in another manner. That could be part of why Felix Randau isn’t so well known as of yet.

If there’s any other reason I’d love to hear it.

5. He’s been a director and a writer.

It’s important to diversify when it comes to movies. Being just a director or just a writer is fine, but if you can do both then you become that much more valuable and can possibly multitask when you need to. The ability to direct is usually the next logical step of progression from being a writer, but not as many people take that next step as many might think.

4. He’s largely unknown.

He’s been active since at least 1999 but judging by his filmography it appears that he hasn’t done much in his career. He could be the type that likes to pick and choose his jobs to appease his sense of direction and vision rather than the type to simply churn out one movie after another because this is what people expect him to do. That’s kind of admirable really but doesn’t do much for his reputation.

3. He’s  the director of Iceman.

Just looking at the preview the movie already looks like it might be worth a look. Set in Neolithic times, a man goes off to hunt and leaves his family in their home. When he comes back however he discovers that his family has been slain and a holy talisman has been taken. At that point it becomes a revenge story as the man must track down those that killed his family before nature can claim him instead.

2. He was born in Germany.

There isn’t much to tell about Felix really that his given by his filmography or by any bio page. It could mean that he values his privacy this much or that no one has really bothered to ask him to relay his life story. As of now there is very little really known about him that the web can offer up, but film credits and interviews that might be around could possibly shed some light on his person.

1. He’s in his early 40s.

He’s still fairly young for a director but is starting to get up there in age. There’s no doubt he has a lot of good years left in him but the impression is still that his filmography will be pretty spare compared to many others. That might be the way he wants it though.

If you can find any more on Felix Randau please, shoot the facts over to me, it’d be interesting to know.
