Days of Our Lives fans didn’t have a big surprise for them when they saw Gabi tell Chad she can’t see him anymore. And fans weren’t surprised when Chad basically didn’t care. The woman he loves and wants to be with is in the hospital recovering after she was hit by a car and almost killed trying to save his life, and that’s where his loyalty is. He’s not worried about her or what she has to say about anything else, and that’s the end for them.
But fans are going to be surprised to see another relationship end. We are going to see Marlena tell John their marriage is over and she can no longer be with him. Of course, this is not entirely true since Marlena is a hostage in a mental institution and John is going to figure that out before much longer. He will especially figure it out when Hattie shows up to break up with him and then spends all her time with Roman — someone Marlena doesn’t care for.
John isn’t stupid, and this is one marriage that will certainly work out provided Hattie is caught and Marlena is able to escape. It’s just going to take John and their kids to figure out what is going with her. And that’s going to be a situation in and of itself. They won’t be able to figure this one out too well when they are focused on Nicole.
