Young and the Restless spoilers tell us that Lily agrees with Victoria. She’s been defending her decision to fire Cane all week. She’s had to do what she had to do. When the lawsuit was first filed, Victoria asked Cane to tell her the truth. He lied to her and then told her he did not give her a job with their company to keep her quiet about a night they spent together when that’s precisely what happened. Now we have to sit back and face the consequence of his actions.
When she realized that he lied to her and that he got this girl pregnant, she had to settle a very expensive lawsuit on behalf of her company. She knew then and there it was the right decision to fire him for lying and costing the company so much money. When she speaks to Lily about it, fans expect to see Lily upset with her husband’s job loss, but she’s not.
She’s not upset about it because it’s not her problem. She’s got a lot of issues right now, but she actually agrees with Victoria’s decision. She doesn’t love it, but she gets it. It’s been a tough situation for her to deal with, and she’s not about to sit back and wonder if there is anything she can do to change the situation. It’s a little shocking, but it’s her own reality right now. She can’t be put in a position to defend his actions when she knows they were so wrong.
