As many of you already know, last night was the first game of the NBA finals. While the game was pretty entertaining for the first quarter and a half, it got a little “boring” since the Warriors decimated the Cavaliers on 38 points from Kevin Durant and 28 from Stephen Curry. Lebron James had his usual other worldly numbers with 29, 15 and 8 and Kevin Love posted 16 pts and 21 boards but this was a Warriors show that saw them effectively bludgeon the Cavs. I’m not sure that even the super powers of Lebron James can slow down this Warriors offense. And Klay Thompson isn’t even playing well!
Anyway, other than game highlights, we saw Jimmy Kimmel airing his show before the big game. And of course, the best moment came when Kimmel posted another edition of NBA players reading mean tweets. My personal favorite was Zach LaVine’s which said, “Zach LaVine looks like the type of guy that tried his girlfriend’s bar on in college as a joke, but then kinda liked it.” So random yet so awesome.
