General Hospital fans can’t decide what they think of Nelle. No one seemed to like her much when she was working her game on Carly and Sonny, but she was wrong. She’s since apologized for her confusion and what she did thinking that it was them who wronged her and her family so long ago. But it’s a little bit too late for that. She has been ostracized by them, and no one wants her in town. The only person who even bothered to give her a chance was Nina, but that was an awkward situation for Nelle when her friend put her in the middle of her marriage.
She’s fallen in love with the son of the couple she tried so hard to ruin, and now she’s facing serious consequences for her actions. She can no longer spend time with him because he’s upset with her, his family hates her, and she’s not the kind of person they want to see their son with. As she tried to leave town, she was attacked and mugged, and now she’s in the hospital. It was Michael who found her and saved her, and now he can’t seem to stay away from her.
But Nelle knows better. She knows how Carly and Sonny feel about her, and we wonder if she will care at all about the additional hurt she’s about to lay on this family. She doesn’t seem to care that she’s already hurt them more than she ever imagined, and we don’t know if she will make the right choice here. She has a lot to offer them, but she can’t do it when they hate her. Will she fight for Michael, or will she walk away?
