Young and the Restless fans now know the most exciting news of the summer. Their favorite character, Adam, is returning from the dead. He’s being recast at the moment, and there are plenty of actors out there who want the job of being this character. It won’t be long before the show finds someone to take on the role, and that means filming will probably start soon for his return. Fans have been asking for a long time to bring him back, but the old actor has a new job and the one before that has a bad history with the show. This means a new Adam, but it also means a few other things.
First and foremost, what does Adam’s return mean for Victor? He’s in trouble for getting this situation started in the first place working with Chloe, and he’s looking for a way to get his family back. Now that his son is alive, will they be a little more willing to forget all he did to Adam? And will Adam figure out that his father was in on all of this? He claims to have nothing to do with this death, but do we really believe he didn’t have a thing to do with that? We aren’t so sure he doesn’t know his father was involved.
More importantly, what might this mean for Nick and Chelsea? They’ve been seeing one another for some time, and that’s a problem considering Chelsea is Adam’s wife, the mother of his child, and the sister-in-law to Nick. This is one romance that will not go well if Adam returns. Will it cause family drama with the brothers, or will she leave Nick and watch as he understands her decision? What is going to happen to this very sordid and kind of weird love triangle when he returns? We have a feeling it won’t be good for Nick.
