Days of Our Lives fans know that Deimos is on a bit of an ego trip. He has this feeling that he is smarter, stronger, and more efficient than anyone else, but he’s kind of wrong a lot. He thinks things are all to his liking right now as he has Xander in control of Nicole and baby Holly, but he’s so wrong about all of it. We have a feeling he’s going to find things blowing up in his face as he gets into this situation a little deeper. Xander doesn’t seem to want to work within the rules and boundaries that Deimos has set up. This isn’t the first time that he’s had Nicole and Eric together as his prisoners, and now he’s got them both again. This means he’s going to torture them the same way he did in the past. But he’s got one problem; Deimos is in control of him after helping him fake his own death.
Of course, Deimos has a plan. His plan is to get Nicole good and scared of Xander and to come in and “Save” her and Holly so that he can be with her again. If he does that, she will love him again. That’s his overall plan. Of course, she has no idea he’s behind the entire kidnapping in the first place. He’s going to hear that Eric is now a prisoner, too, and he’s just going to go with the punches and “save” Eric as well. Will this work out for him? We seriously doubt any of this crazy plan is going to go well as all. First and foremost, Nicole is in love with Brady. She and Eric will probably make up and become friends again following the accident that killed Daniel, and all will be well in the near future. But what does that mean for Deimos? It means he’s not going to get his way.
Xander is going to decide he can get a little more out of this than he bargained for, and he’ll stop listening to Deimos. He’s grateful to him, but he is a vile, dangerous, vicious person with no problem doing anything against his will.
