General Hospital fans know Tracy’s time is coming to an end soon, and they’re certainly going to miss this feisty woman as she exits the show with a massive bang. She’s been an integral part of this cast for so long people can’t even remember what life was like without her. She’s calling it a day, going on to retire, and she’s going to take her last few days to make a big impact on the lives around her in Port Charles. We all know she’s a woman who likes things to go her way, and this is not going to be any different from the way she’s managed to handle her own life to this point. She’s a woman with a mission, and she’s about to live it her way. At the moment, she’s going to continue to go on with Finn’s doubt.
She’s decided her life isn’t what she wanted it to be. She wants to do good things, give to charity, and spend the rest of her life being a good person. Perhaps to make up for all the time she spent being one who wasn’t so good? She’s got some serious work ahead for her, and she might have thought about starting that a bit sooner if she’s working on redeeming herself for all she’s done wrong — but that’s neither here nor there. She’s announced to her family she no longer wants to live in Port Charles. She cannot carry out the plans for the rest of her life to be a good person and do good things around all the people who make her crazy and have done bad things to her. She can’t do it. She’s leaving.
It turns out she’s decided she’s going to Amsterdam, and she’s going to run into someone she once cared very much for — Luke. This is going to be her very final farewell on the show, and he did promise he’d come back only for something meaningful. We guess Tracy is his meaningful in this situation. This is it for her — you won’t see her again after this week.
