Young and the Restless fans don’t seem to think that Devon and Mariah will go much further in their romance with one another. Sure, they seem to be getting even hotter and more interested in one another every single day, but we don’t see this one going anywhere. In fact, we see this one going nowhere. They are not the kind of people who belong together, especially now that we seem to have bigger dreams for Mariah than him. We want to see her with Kevin. Now that he’s been named the father of little Bella, she needs a mother who will actually do well by her. We think that Mariah might be the one for them, and we need her to hurry up and end things with Devon so she and Kevin can realize they have feelings for one another. They might just make a very sweet couple.
Of course, Hilary might have a little something to do about that. She’s not happy about the fact that Devon and Mariah are together, so she’s doing whatever she can to make sure they end their relationship very quickly. She wants to move on, and she’s chosen Jordan as the man she’s going to be with. But she still loves Devon. Their divorce was only just finalized. It’s apparently fine for her to move on with Jordan, but seeing him move on with Mariah has made her green with envy and blind with rage. How far is she willing to go to make sure no one is happy with her ex?
And will her actions make it difficult for her relationship with Jordan? He can’t be all that thrilled about the fact that this lady friend is making so many advances toward a man she was once married to and left. He’s not going to want to find out what she’s doing to Devon and Mariah, and it might be the end for this relationship. If that happens, there is a good chance that Mariah will also move on. She’s not one who seems to have any good feelings about being with a man who is being stalked by a crazy ex, after all.
