Kelly Ripa teased fans with a short Instagram video over the weekend saying that her new co-host today would be joining. Of course she didn’t say who it was but she did say “it’s worth it.” Looks like we’ve found out a little early who the host is. “Live” airs at 9am and sources say the man for the job is Ryan Seacrest. He will be introduced by Ripa on Monday morning’s broadcast, two sources with knowledge of the deal told CNN.
“Live” gives the former host of Fox’s “American Idol” a new daily platform on network television. In the fall NBC is introducing a new 9 a.m. show led by Megyn Kelly, who recently jumped from Fox News to NBC. “Live” is based in New York. Seacrest lives in Los Angeles, but he has a home in Manhattan, and he’s moving to New York to start the new job.
So what do we take from all of this? Simple. More evidence to point to the fact that Ryan Seacrest isn’t a human being. I’m 99% sure that Seacrest is up 24 hours a day and the only time he’s “resting” is when he has to go to a charging station to recharge his battery. Seriously, how in the world does this guy do it?
